I have begun collecting westerns from the 40's-60's. These mostly include books for children or adolescents. However, today I found two novels: Arizona Guns and Rebel's Roundup. These were first sold for 25 cents apiece. Arizona Guns was first published in 1918. My paperback copy came out in 1957. The cover reads: "He Was a Hard Man-With Colt or Fist." The 1952 Rebel's Roundup states "Range-dry saddle bums gun through Texas".
It takes some time and dedication to build my library since I refuse to pay more than 3 bucks a book. This means I spend an embarrassing amount of time cruising the thrift stores. It is sooo worth it when I can read lines like: "They were dirty, unshaven, hungry-desperate men whose six-guns slapped against their gray pants." *sigh*

You were born to blog, sister! Seriously. Love it! I would just like to see some photos of the covers too. I can't remember if you have a camera or not. Actually you could probably find the pictures online, since they are books.
